Welcome to my website...

Sometimes everything can seem hopeless  and you can't see a way of coping alone.

Seeking therapy can be seen as hope because you want things to get better. Wanting things to improve is a natural part of being human .

Do you find yourself repeating the same old patterns of the past with a desire that things could be different?  Maybe you are seeking relationship counselling or you are feeling depressed, anxious or angry about an issue that leaves you feeling stuck and unable to move on.  My belief is that through awareness we have a choice and it doesn't have to be more of the same old thing.
"In the present, we can embrace the past in order to free the future."
I can help you to unlock your inner emotional resilience and learn how to deal with life's challenges in a different way.  Together we can look at improving and protecting your mental health.
I hope that together we can

- talk over your situation in confidence
- reach a better understanding of your difficulties
- decide on the best way forward for yourself

Whatever the problem you bring to counselling - whether it is to do with relationship issues, or you are under stress and there are difficulties at work, or you are feeling anxious, angry, feeling sad and perhaps depressed  we can explore this together.
What is Counselling?

Counselling falls under the umbrella term ‘talking therapies’ and allows people to discuss their problems and any difficult feelings they encounter in a safe, confidential environment. The term can mean different things to different people, but in general it is a process people seek when they want to change something in their lives or simply explore their thoughts and feelings in more depth.
Can it help me?

Counselling can help you to understand yourself better and the way you think, which will ultimately help you develop a clearer understanding of your problems. I can also help you to learn healthy coping strategies. The more armed with information you are, the easier it gradually becomes to navigate your way through any difficulties you are facing so that eventually you can come out the other side feeling more positive.
What to Expect

If you have decided to try counselling, you might be feeling anxious about your first session. Making the decision to get help and address the issues you are facing is an important first step and should be commended.
I will ask you why you are seeking therapy, explore your current situation and personal history and look at your physical and psychological symptons.
